I make beer in my kitchen.
I am inspired by the infinite creativity of the brewing craft, and the magic transformation of flavors that occurs during the fermentation process.
I love learning about the long history of brewing and the many ingredients and processes we've used over the course of time.
I am especially energized by the rich ancestral connection beer offers to us.
I specialize in the beers my Norwegian ancestors made, reaching both into the long history and varied traditions in Norway, and in the adaptations the immigrants made when they arrived in the American Upper Midwest.
